Knock out the big and ugly one

THIS TUESDAY ON TORIE TALKS… LET’S TALK ABOUT THAT BIG, UGLY TASK YOU DWELL ON.

There is always going to be things you do not want to do – things that are difficult or just things we are not totally looking forward to. 

It happens.

When you are faced with a big, ugly task for the day, schedule it first and jump on it quick.

Knock that thing out first so:

1. You don’t have it bringing down your day, as you dwell on it

2. You feel like a rock star the rest of the day because of your big win early in the day.

Don’t be scared of a looming task

Don’t push it aside until the end of the day. Punch that thing in the face first thing and enjoy the rest of your day like a superstar.

TAKE ACTION

Every day this week write down the one big (sucky) task you need to do the next day. Once you put your work “hat” on I want you to knock that task out like a champ. Big high fives will be digitally flying your way. At the end of the week reflect on how you felt throughout the week getting the monster task out of the way first. Is this something you will continue?
