A Simple Process to Transform Your Life
If you’re not happy with your life, you’re in luck.
It is possible to completely transform your life. You can change your life and create a life you love; REALLY LOVE.
It requires only a few key ingredients: a plan, patience, and a willingness to get outside your comfort zone.
If the thought of stepping outside your comfort zone sends you into panic mode, you can totally baby-step this and still get mad results. And achieving a couple small successes will give you the confidence to move forward with more significant changes. Then you will be off you transforming your entire life to fit your wildest dreams.
Follow these steps to transform your life into the life you truly love
1. Choose the things that will have the most significant impact.
Take a look at your life and think about the changes you’d like to make and make a list. Then put the list in order from what you’d like the most to the least. Now, start at the top and look down the list; stop at the first thing you can change quick and simple. Start with that thing.
2. Set a goal.
What could you achieve in 90 days around the topic you identified in step #1? Don’t play small, be bold; you’re far more capable than you think!
Write out precisely what you want to accomplish, such as, “On or before July 25th, I will increase my income to $5,000 a month by starting a side business.”
3. Reflect on what has stopped you in the past.
Something has stopped your progress so far; figure out what it is. Is it lack of time or resources? Is it fear? Ability is rarely the problem; most likely, you’ll find that your own fears or doubts are at the root of what prevented you from previously taking action.
4. Address the issues in Step #3.
Whatever has been stopping in the past isn’t going to stop on its own. Create a plan to eliminate the challenge for good. Starting simple daily habits like meditation to boost your success in overcoming these challenges.
A test is to think about what you’ll have to go through to achieve your goal; if you feel anything but excited, you have some work to do. This is feedback from your unconscious, so don’t ignore it – use it. It’s a gift.
5. Review your goal daily.
Continuing to reinforce your goal will maintain its importance in your mind. Look at your goal every day and read it aloud. Imagine accomplishing your goal. The tougher the goal, the more frequently you should review it.
6. Have an action plan.
A plan divided into a list of simple steps, or daily activities to do, can be your roadmap to success. Big goals usually require quite a bit of action steps, but you can achieve them easily by following your map, taking it one step at a time. Make a plan and work the plan only looking to the next step and moving one step at a time.
7. Track progress.
It’s important to measure your progress. If you have a financial goal, how much money have you made so far? How much time is left until the deadline? Are you ahead or behind schedule? Be sure to know where you are in relation to the completion of your goal.
Don’t stop. If you don’t quit then you can’t fail.
Transforming your life is an awesome goal and one of the most meaningful things you can accomplish for yourself. Be sure to be patient – you’re not going to change everything you want overnight. Knock off a few of the simplest items first.
The confidence you gain will motivate you through the tougher challenges.
