  4.  | 5 Ways to Get More Customers into Your Sales Funnel

You should always have a steady stream of prospects asking about your services, opting into your email list, and purchasing your products.

When you stop having that steady flow, you’ve got a problem.

How do you keep your sales funnel full of new prospects and then get them to buy?

I’m Torie Mathis, long-time entrepreneur, marketing agency CEO, and builder of some powerful sales funnels, and today I’m giving you five ways to attract more clients to your sales funnel every single day.

Let’s get started.

Your sales funnel is the path your prospects take from their first introduction to you all the way to them purchasing your products and services.

Each touchpoint you make through this path follows your buyer’s journey and will include offers for them to take action – to sign up, to buy, and even to refer you to others.

The key is to keep finding new people to hop into your funnel.

I have five ways to consistently attract clients into your funnel, no matter what time of year:

5 Ways to Get More Customers into Your Sales Funnel - Be Consistent With Your Social Media Marketing

1. Be Consistent With Your Social Media Marketing

This means posting daily, if you can, on social media with a mix of content that informs, entertains, and gets your audience to take action.

Use scheduling options to keep consistent on social media no matter how busy you get. We like to use Meet Edgar, as you can build a reusable queue of evergreen content that can serve as a base of content to continually go out.

Interact with your prospects on your business pages, your personal profile, and within common groups. This means scheduling a time once or twice a day – even if it’s just for 10 minutes to mingle, answer questions, leave comments and grow your community.

Consistency is what will build that know, like, and trust with your growing audience, so when you make an offer, they will feel comfortable taking action to get into your funnel and buy.

2. Keep All of Your Offers Up To Date

When was the last time you changed up your lead magnet?

Or the last time you created a new service or product?

Keeping up with what your audience needs and wants shows your dedication to helping them, which will help to gain you a loyal following.

Even just updating your current offer with new information goes a long way to earning loyalty. It shows you care and are always improving how you can help.

Many times people have seen what you offer so many times, whether it be your lead magnet or your service, and they’ve come to tune it out.

So don’t be afraid to shake things up.

Refresh your lead magnet, rename or repackage your services, come up with a new product (even if it’s just an updated version, they don’t need to know). To your audience, all of these changes will feel new and exciting and maybe just what they need to take action with you.

3. Don’t Be Afraid to Tell Them What You’re Selling

Don’t assume people know everything you offer. Your most loyal fans may know what you sell because they have followed you for a while, but even they may not realize everything you have to offer.

It’s good to mention your products, your services, your packages, and other offers often because your audience may have no idea, and they may be happily surprised to see you offer something they need.

Be sure to do this, not only on social media but to your email list, too.

Find a nice balance of entertaining, education, and sales content and tell them what you have. They can’t buy what they don’t know about.

Fill Your Sales Funnel - Consider A Special Or One-Time Coupon

4. Consider A Special Or One-Time Coupon

Introductory specials work great, especially for subscription models, such as a 7-day trial free trial, but you want to use these offers sparingly.

If you run discounts and specials too often, your followers will simply wait for the next sale before deciding to buy. Consider instead using a discount coupon as a reward to a limited audience, like to your webinar attendees, or as a gift to your podcast listeners. That way, the audience feels special for getting this exclusive discount.

Always remember to have an ending date for any specials you offer and see how you can work a little FOMO in there to encourage people to act now or miss out forever.

5. Contact Your Current Customers

Did you know that the chance of selling to your current customers ranges from 60-70%, whereas selling to a cold audience is only 5-20%?

These warm contacts are already in your pipeline but may need a little push to get to the next level. That push might come from a friendly phone call or from an email from you.

Even if they say they’re not interested right now, maybe they know someone who needs your services right now. So don’t be afraid to ask for referrals.

Make it a habit to send out a “push” email once in a while to get those that are on the fence that tip they need to buy. You may be surprised at how many are close right now.

Lastly, don’t be afraid to get creative when it comes to your marketing efforts. Show your personality, engage in conversations online, encourage email subscribers to respond with questions and comments, record videos for your social media feeds; you’re only limited by your own creativity.

You never know what small activity will be the one to turn your prospects into buyers.
